Dr. Antonia Tsallas is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in Toronto. She was first introduced to naturopathic medicine while in graduate school at UBC in Vancouver, British Columbia.
During this time, Dr. Tsallas experienced a different way of life – one that promoted a balanced lifestyle of healthy eating, physical activity, social connections and the great outdoors. She introduced herself to yoga, hiking, kayaking, and running. This experience empowered Dr. Tsallas to take charge of her life and health. She discovered a lot about herself personally and gained the necessary tools to help manage stress, anxiety and fatigue.
Dr. Tsallas holds a Masters of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of British Colombia, and uses her strong knowledge base of pharmaceuticals in her clinical practice. In 2016, Dr. Tsallas obtained her Doctor of Naturopathy degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
She has a clinical focus in chronic pain conditions, stress management and mental health. Because she draws from the evidence connecting between inflammation, pain, gut health and mental health, her clinical experience has been supporting patients with digestive concerns, hormonal health issues, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, multiple sclerosis, migraines, depression and anxiety.
Dr. Tsallas is intravenous therapy (IVIT) certified and has prescribing rights for bioidentical hormones and injections. She is also a member of both the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors.
She is fluent in both English and Greek.
In her free time, Dr. Tsallas loves food, singing and nature. She loves to travel, read and spend time with friends and family. As a proud mother of two, she enjoys sharing her experiences about parenting and caring for young children naturally with other mothers.
“I understand that pain does not just stem from one thing and therefore cannot be treated with one thing. However, I believe in the basics. I believe in starting at a beginning that is simple and easy to follow. I believe in listening to you and your needs. I believe in finding the root cause of your pain. Ultimately, it is my wish to help guide you on your personal healing journey. It is my job to help you discover the imbalances in your body that lead to your pain symptoms. Change is hard, but you can do it! I am here for you!”
