Dr. Aliya Kassamali, PharmD has been a practicing pharmacist since 2012. She has worked in multiple clinical settings in both Alberta and Ontario that have involved managing medications for mental health, weight loss, diabetes & blood pressure management, and smoking cessation. She is an advocate for holistic care and deprescribing medications that are no longer beneficial or causing harm. She has an entrepreneurial spirit and is passionate about patient education and using digital health tools to improve patient care. In a past life, she was also a personal fitness trainer!
Dr. Kassamali is currently offering consults on medications, interactions, side effects and supplements as they relate to your personal health issues. She is also the founder of The Health Aisle, a peer-reviewed website providing current health information to Canadians. Dr. Kassamali is available for both Single Issue Consultations and Comprehensive Medicine Reviews privately to Aurum patients.
