She also provides cosmetic facial acupuncture to complement the internal health approach.
Su has an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto in environmental health in addition to her Traditional Chinese Medicine diploma from the Humber College Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning Traditional Chinese Medicine program, where she finished top of her class with distinction.

Su was born and raised in South Korea until she immigrated to Canada during her childhood. Su is fluent in oral and written Korean. She loves her Korean culture and this is one of the factors that made her interested in TCM. TCM shares very similar theories with Korean medicine and uses common modalities such as acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping, and more. In fact, Korean medicine practitioners in Ontario are also regulated under CTCMPAO. Korean medicine is a mainstream medicine in Korea along with Biomedicine.
EDUCATION & LICENSURE:
Su studied Environmental Health and Environmental Sciences at University of Toronto. During this time, she learned how environmental factors can affect the health outcome of humans. She learned basic human health sciences including human biology, physiology, and anatomy while also learning human impacts on the environment, multi- and inter-disciplinary environmental studies. She has been awarded academic achievement and community work-based scholarships including entrance scholarships, Peter John Hare memorial scholarship in Environment, Sidney & Lucille Silver scholarship, The Chancellor’s scholarship at St. Hilda’s. She graduated from these programs with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree, and was accredited with High Distinction.
This educational background has significance on her Traditional Chinese Medicine study because in Traditional Chinese Medicine, humans are regarded as one with the universe. Humans are vulnerable to invasion of environmental pathogenic factors, and in fact, TCM acknowledges that certain patterns of disharmony are more common in certain geographical areas due to the prevailing climate.
Su studied TCM at Humber College Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning, one of the two colleges that are publicly funded for Traditional Chinese Medicine / Acupuncture programs. With her diligence, she earned Tzu Chi scholarships which are awarded to students with high academic achievement within the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner program. She graduated the program with the highest academic achievement in the class.
Su obtained the titles for R. TCMP and R. Ac upon successful completion of the Pan-Canadian examination (this confers permission to practice anywhere within Canada).
